This position will also serve as the primary point of contact with referral sources, physician's offices and patients/caregivers.</p> <p>The anticipated pay range for this position is $24-$27 hourly.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Along with the specified job duties listed above, the position is required to maintain strict adherence to all Byram Healthcare policies and procedures as published and as amended from time to time. This adherence applies to all compliance and conformance plans, policies, codes of conduct, laws and regulations in effect. </li><li>Process new referrals completely and accurately. </li><li>Must be organized and be able to work with pharmacist to create and assure and efficient workflow and orders are timely and profitable. </li><li>Communicate effectively and professionally with referral sources and patients. </li><li>Verify all patient demographics including shipping address, pharmacy insurance coverage, allergy and medical conditions as necessary. </li><li>Contact patients prior to their next order due date and process all patients' prescriptions; ensure prescriptions needed are current with refills and any authorizations necessary; verify ongoing pharmacy benefits for each customer; must insure accuracy of delivery address for customer every moth/ responsible for information patient of co-pay and attempt of collection prior to shipping order. </li><li>Keep customer database current and accurate with order information, communications and activities as to be documents in patient notes. </li><li>Identify and refer any clinical issues to the pharmacist for consultation. </li><li>Must possess excellent communication skills with the ability to practice proper phone etiquette. </li><li>Call Center Technicians: Ability to answer hi-volume in-bound calls via an automated phone system. </li><li>Ability to make outbound calls to patients and referrals as necessary. </li><li>Respond quickly and professionally to customer telephone questions and concerns. </li><li>Work closely with all departments within the organization as necessary to ensure efficient processing and delivery of customers' orders. </li><li>Must be able to accurately fill patient prescription orders if asked by the pharmacist. </li><li>Assist pharmacist with ordering and inventory as needed. </li><li>Assist pharmacist with other duties requested for the normal everyday operation of the pharmacy which are granted to a pharmacy technician under existing state law. </li><li>Must possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office. </li></ul> <p>Teammate Benefits</p> <p>As an Accendra Health employee, you have choices to fit your life.
