The department is overseen by the Director of Career and Technical Education, who, along with the teachers, works with a Program Advisory Committee comprised of area business leaders, parents, and students to ensure our curriculum and equipment align with industry demands.</p> <p>Mentoring: Teachers who are new to the profession will be matched with a veteran teacher who will serve as a mentor and provide guidance on lesson planning, student management, assessments and grading, etc.</p> <p>Qualifications: Eligible applicants must possess a Chapter 74 Marketing license from the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.</p> <p>PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ol> <li> <p>Responsible for the delivery of instruction of Marketing, in accordance with departmental curriculum objectives and the MA CVTE Curriculum Frameworks.</p> </li><li> <p>Utilize and follow Marketing curriculum frameworks.</p> </li><li> <p>Establish and maintain a professional classroom/shop environment, with an emphasis on shop safety, strong work ethic, and mastery of skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Attend General Advisory Committee meetings.</p> </li><li> <p>Establish and implement specific goals in accordance with district-wide, school-wide, and department requirements.</p> </li><li> <p>Support the Director of CTE in recommending program improvement, equipment & supply purchases, and grant preparation.</p> </li></ol> <p>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ol> <li> <p>MA DESE Teacher's license (Chapter 74) in Marketing</p> </li><li> <p>Curriculum development experience and knowledge of integration of technical competencies with curriculum frameworks.</p> </li><li> <p>Full-time employment experience directly related to Marketing and/or teaching experience.</p> </li><li> <p>Competency in software related to Marketing.</p> </li><li> <p>Competency in the use of computer applications and instructional technology to aid in the interactive delivery of instruction.</p> </li></ol> <ul> <li>Position Type: Full-time </li><li>Positions Available: 1 </li></ul> <p>Applications will be considered when submitted via our online application system with POWERSCHOOL UNIFIED TALENT.
