Position Type Faculty</p> <p>Department Information</p> <p>Ending Effective Date of Temporary Employment Department Management & Marketing</p> <p>Job Duties</p> <p>Responsibility / Duty</p> <p>Delivery of Instruction: At the Instructor level, 12 hours of courses per semester.</p> <p>At the Assistant/Associate level, 9 hours of courses per semester. Effective delivery of student-focused instruction both in the classroom and via online coursework is expected, as is continuous professional improvement and accessibility/interaction with students.</p> <p>Percentage Of Time 55 Responsibility / Duty</p> <p>Scholarly Activity: At the Instructor level, not applicable.</p> <p>At the Assistant/Associate level, successfully publish peer-reviewed journal articles and conference proceedings to maintain academic qualifications.</p> <p>Percentage Of Time 30 Responsibility / Duty</p> <p>Service to Department, College, University, and Community: Participate in student advising, institutional committees, and campus/community/professional activities. Participate in program reviews; participate in student recruitment and retention. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.</p> <p>Percentage Of Time 15</p> <p>Posting Detail Information</p> <p>Minimum Experience Required</p> <p>At the Instructor level, must have significant professional work experience in the teaching discipline. The professional experience must be of at least 5 years, significant in responsibility, and related to the teaching areas. In addition, the candidate must have strong professionalism and written and oral communication skills.</p> <p>Minimum Education Required</p> <p>At the Instructor level, the individual must hold a Master's Degree in Management or Master's Degree in Business Administration with a Management concentration, or closely related field, preferably from an AACSB accredited school.</p> <p>At the Assistant/Associate level, Ph. D. or D.B.A. in Management of related field, preferably from an AACSB accredited school; ABD will be considered, but must provide strong evidence that all Doctoral requirements are completed, less the dissertation.</p> <p>Minimum Licenses Required Other Minimum Requirements Test(s) Required Preferred Education Preferred Experience</p> <p>Demonstrated professional expertise in management with meaningful industry involvement. Teaching experience and industry certifications are a plus.
