<p>SALARY</p> <p>The minimum salary is $61,954.88 annually.</p> <p>This position is not eligible for overtime (exempt); however, the city has a compensatory time leave program for employees that grants leave time for hours worked in excess of forty hours.</p> <p>Pay Grade 522</p> <p>FILING DEADLINE DATE</p> <p>The deadline to apply is Monday, April 20, 2026</p> <p>GENERAL DESCRIPTION</p> <p>The purpose of this classification is to serve as a subject matter expert and consultant in PeopleSoft Financials, Human Resources, and/or Payroll functions and to support the daily operations of the UCG Divisions.</p> <p>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in a field related to the job </li><li>Two (2) years of related experience </li><li>Additional years of related education may substitute for years of experience </li><li>Additional years of related experience may substitute for years of education </li></ul> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</p> <ul> <li>Analyzes data, troubleshoots problems, and conducts testing to maintain system functionality and effectiveness </li><li>Researches and trains to remain up to date on current standards and best practices </li><li>Provides first-line functional expertise for HCM and Finance operations </li><li>Manages security and permission access for government-wide PeopleSoft users </li><li>Assists with annual processes and system-wide upgrades throughout the year </li><li>Coordinates efforts between technical staff and other divisions </li><li>Trains Finance/Human Resources personnel when needed </li><li>Performs related work as assigned </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Leads requirements gathering for small or well-defined projects </li><li>Uses standard elicitation techniques: interviews, workshops, process mapping </li><li>Writes clear, structured requirements and user stories </li><li>Works independently with business users; manages minor conflicts </li></ul> <p>ADDITIONAL INFORMATION</p> <p>This position has a hybrid working schedule.
