The successful candidates will participate in the general cardiology inpatient and outpatient service at West Roxbury campus. The position involves staffing one of three inpatient consult service including a consult service assessing inpatient and outpatient consults, or the inpatient service accepting admissions for a variety of cardiology conditions. The position involves managing and teaching residents, Nurse Practitioners, and cardiovascular disease fellows in inpatient venues. Accomplishments should be commensurate with academic appointment as Instructor, Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor of Medicine. VABHS is a multi-campus tertiary care medical center that provides a full range of patient care services along with nationally recognized education and innovative research activities. We have major affiliations with Harvard Medical School and Boston University Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine. VABHS has one of the largest research programs in VA with several federally funded research centers, including VA's signature genetic repository, the Million Veteran Program, which offer significant collaborative opportunities.
