<p>The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOC) is looking for a qualified Accountant II to support our Corporate Operations in our Orlando, Florida office.</p> <p>DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Monthly billing of assigned contract billings </li><li>Working with Program Managers, Accounts Payable, and Contracts staff to resolve discrepancies and provide support when needed. </li><li>Interface with and provide guidance to remote program accounting staff on billings, projects and month-end closing. </li><li>Develop and document internal processes and workflows </li><li>Assist Revenue Manager with monthly reports into excel spreadsheet for analysis </li><li>Reviews, investigates, and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries </li><li>Assist with year-end close and audit preparation as needed. </li><li>Other assigned duties </li></ul> <p>REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:</p> <p>Associate's degree or higher in accounting and/or finance</p> <p>REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of three (3) years' experience in Federal Government Accounting </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, etc.) </li><li>Deltek/Costpoint </li></ul> <p>DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to read and interpret Government Award and Modification documents. </li><li>Knowledge of Contract types (FP, T&M, CPFF) </li><li>Knowledge of WAWF and IPP submissions </li></ul> <p>The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) is a fast-growing government service provider.
