The Assistant Director of Nursing will provide leadership while assisting the Director of Nursing in planning and organizing the overall operation of nursing services to foster the highest degree of quality care. You will assist in directing and supporting a friendly and dynamic team of Nurses and Certified Nurse Assistants and will act as Director of Nursing in his/her absence. If you have a strong passion for working with seniors, take pride in what you do and are looking for a great company that shares your vision, then this is the ideal opportunity.</p> <p>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>Assist the Director of Nursing to:</p> <ul> <li>Develop, review, and revise standards, guidelines, forms and job descriptions </li><li>Provide and/or promote staff educational programs, monitor attendance and compliance with mandatory training as required </li><li>Participate in regularly scheduled management meetings </li><li>Coordinate the completion of the admission, discharge, and evaluation materials and process for all residents/patients.
