<p>Provides portfolio and investment analysis, consulting and research to Vanguard's clients. Serves as an internal and external subject matter expert and as a leader for junior crew members.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Serve as an internal authority on various financial planning topics and strategies. </li><li>Partner with team leaders to define a strategic roadmap for financial planning content and capabilities. </li><li>Develop concise, high-impact thought leadership content-including research briefs, presentations, and planning insights-for advisors, clients, and internal stakeholders. </li><li>Collaborate with Vanguard's Investment Strategy Group and other internal stakeholders to shape the firm's perspective on key financial planning topics and integrate insights into our advice framework. </li><li>Design and deliver targeted training programs with Learning & Development to enhance advisor proficiency in financial planning concepts and strategies. </li><li>Represent the department in internal and external forums, client webinars, and speaking engagements; provide case consultation on complex client financial planning scenarios. </li><li>Provide case consultations to internal advisors and team members on complex financial planning scenarios. </li><li>Coach and develop investment analysts on the team, elevating standards for analytical depth, writing quality, and executive communication. </li><li>Lead or support special projects aligned with the team's strategic goals. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Eight years of experience in the Financial Services industry or client services preferred. </li><li>Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred. </li><li>CFP or progress towards required; additional designation in financial planning preferred. </li><li>This job requires a regulatory license and/or registration (e.g. FINRA, state, SFC).
