In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing technological solutions by leveraging a mix of documented standards, emerging technologies, and agency-wide resources.</p> <p>Note: This position requires a background investigation before a final job offer is made.</p> <p>EXAMPLE OF DUTIES</p> <ul> <li>Design and implement data architecture solutions that support business intelligence, analytics, and operational systems across the organization. </li><li>Ensure data governance and security by implementing standards, policies, and best practices for data management and compliance. </li><li>Monitor and troubleshoot data systems to proactively identify and resolve performance or data integrity issues. </li><li>Evaluate and select database technologies and tools to support evolving business requirements and scalability. </li><li>Design scalable, efficient, and secure technology solutions using both current and emerging technologies. </li><li>Review, evaluate, and audit IT data solutions to ensure compliance with architectural and operational standards. </li><li>Develop and maintain data models (conceptual, logical, and physical) to ensure data consistency, quality, and accessibility. </li><li>Optimize data pipelines and integration processes to ensure high performance, reliability, and efficiency across data systems. </li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, system admins, and stakeholders, to implement effective IT strategies. </li><li>Document data architecture standards and procedures to ensure clear communication and consistency across teams. </li><li>Assist in the selection and integration of tools and platforms that align with agency goals. </li><li>Provide technical guidance and mentorship to project teams and junior staff as needed. </li><li>Stay current with technology trends and propose innovative solutions to improve data performance and reliability. </li></ul> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>Some knowledge of:</p> <ul> <li>Current trends in information technology </li><li>Computer hardware and software capabilities and limitations. </li></ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Technical infrastructure, implementing, trouble shooting, integrating network servers, database, system administration, and core technologies. </li></ul> <p>To learn more about the department, please visit the ITD website.
