<p>Client Overview:</p> <p>Our client, a large organization in Tampa, FL, is seeking a Senior Accountant for a highly visible role with strong growth potential. The ideal candidate is technically strong, comfortable owning their financials, and experienced with SOX, US GAAP, and cost accounting processes.</p> <p>Salary/Rate/Hourly Rate:</p> <p>$80k - $95k</p> <p>Position Overview:</p> <p>The Senior Accountant will support operational accounting as well as cost accounting functions. The Senior Accountant will contribute to both financial reporting and operational analysis. This is a strong opportunity for someone looking to grow and expand their scope.</p> <p>Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:</p> <ul> <li>Support month-end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, consolidations, and roll-forwards to ensure accuracy and timeliness. </li><li>Prepare internal financial reporting packages, including management reports and financial statements with footnotes, while supporting ERP reporting. </li><li>Assist with audit and compliance efforts, including SOX controls, internal audit testing, external audit support, and resolving audit findings. </li><li>Support cost accounting activities, including inventory variance analysis and LIFO/FIFO updates within the ERP system. </li></ul> <p>Required Experience/Skills for the Senior Accountant:</p> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience. </li><li>Strong Excel skills. </li><li>Preferred Experience/Skills for the Senior Accountant: </li><li>SAP experience is required. </li></ul> <p>Education Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. </li></ul> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Atrium Care Package available, upon eligibility (including healthcare plans, discount programs, and paid time off). </li></ul>
