Monitors slot and table games activity; reviews slot and table games department data contained in the Surveillance areas of ACSC CMS-SMS SYSTEMS also an understanding of sensitive key systems.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</p> <p>(The following statements are intended as general illustrations of the work in this job class and are not all inclusive for this position.)</p> <p>Observes and reports any and all gaming violations and/or thefts of Horseshoe St. Louis property.</p> <p>Operates monitor room equipment, including basic computer functions; reviews slot and table games department data contained in the Surveillance areas of ACSC CMS-SMS SYSTEMS to protect company assets and funds.</p> <p>Maintains video surveillance of the entire casino, i.e., table games, slots,, food and beverage outlets, parking lot, parking garages, hotel/casino complex, outbuildings and shops.</p> <p>Video records gaming and security-related incidents within the realm of monitor room video recording and surveillance capabilities.</p> <p>Participates in court actions relating to gaming violations.</p> <p>Learns and uses various card count systems.</p> <p>Learns all games in use at Horseshoe St. Louis and all procedures and cheating indicators of such games.</p> <p>Perform other duties as assigned by management.</p> <p>JOB QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Must be at least 21 years of age </li><li>Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license </li><li>Must have 20/20 corrected vision. </li><li>Ability to be physically mobile, and stand/walk for 8 to 12-hour shifts. </li><li>Excellent guest service and communication skills. </li><li>Must be able to work in areas containing dust, secondhand smoke, varying noise and temperature levels, lighting, vibrations, crowds and air quality. </li><li>Must present a professional appearance and demeanor at all times. </li><li>Regular and punctual attendance is required. </li></ul> <p>These skills are typically acquired through a high school education or equivalent and two years of surveillance experience or casino experience in security, table games, or an equivalent combination of training, education and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.</p>
