<p>Summer Associate - Program Coordinator Youth Volunteer Corps</p> <p>The Youth Volunteer Corps (YVC) of Muskogee provides structured service-learning and enrichment opportunities for youth in grades 7-12, with a focus on developing leadership, responsibility, and community engagement. Many participating youth come from low-income households and have limited access to extracurricular and skill-building opportunities that support future success. YVC addresses these gaps by engaging youth in meaningful community service projects that build transferable skills such as teamwork, communication, and problem-solving. Through hands-on service experiences, youth gain exposure to potential career pathways, strengthen connections to their community, and develop a sense of purpose and responsibility. Reflection activities reinforce learning and help youth connect their service to broader personal and community outcomes. Members will facilitate reflection activities that help youth connect their experiences to personal growth, leadership development, and future goals, while maintaining accurate records of participation and service hours.
