<p>Job Description</p> <p>We are seeking a Continuous Improvement Specialist to help drive operational excellence across manufacturing and production activities. This individual will partner with teams throughout the organization to evaluate current processes, uncover inefficiencies, and lead improvement efforts using Lean and related methodologies.</p> <p>Responsibilities Include</p> <ul> <li>Facilitate kaizen activities, workshops, training sessions, and coaching on continuous improvement methodologies. </li><li>Promote continuous improvement and encourage employee engagement in process enhancements. </li><li>Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor progress toward improvement goals. </li><li>Identify opportunities for process improvements at all levels of the organization. </li><li>Conduct data analysis to identify root causes of issues and develop solutions using lean principles. </li><li>Implement process changes and monitor results to ensure effectiveness and sustainability. </li><li>Utilize problem solving tools such as root cause analysis, 5S, and visual management to improve processes. </li><li>Train and coach employees on continuous improvement methodologies. </li><li>Conduct audits to ensure compliance with established processes and identify areas for improvement. </li></ul> <p>Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field. </li><li>3+ years experience working in a manufacturing environment. </li><li>Experience in process improvement, project management, or operational excellence. </li><li>Strong knowledge of lean principles, continuous improvement methodologies, and problem-solving skills. </li><li>Automotive industry experience preferred. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>This role is based in a fast-paced, high-impact manufacturing environment where the products directly affect and protect lives. The position operates on a first-shift schedule, with flexibility on start time when needed. The facility has been recently remodeled and features an extremely clean production area along with an on-site game room space, reflecting a modern and employee-focused workplace.</p> <p>Job Type & Location</p> <p>This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cleveland, OH.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $41.00 - $46.00/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
