<p>Job Description</p> <p>Position Summary</p> <p>As a Project Manager, you will be an integral part of the Transformation Execution Office, contributing to the successful management and support of moderately sized organizational projects.</p> <p>Your contributions will directly impact project success, organizational efficiency, and the achievement of strategic goals. If you're eager to learn, collaborate, and contribute to meaningful projects, we encourage you to join our team!</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Project Management Activities:</p> <ul> <li>Perform project management tasks under the guidance of highly experienced project or program managers. </li><li>Manage organizational projects, varying in size and complexity, from small to medium sized initiatives with low to moderate complexity. </li><li>Lead cross-functional projects that span multiple business units. </li><li>Collaborate with diverse teams to achieve project goals. </li><li>Projects will frequently necessitate engaging with remote staff and collaborating with vendors to achieve the assigned project objectives. </li><li>Lead project discovery activities (e.g. request for proposals, business case development, security risk assessment). </li></ul> <p>Project Planning and Work Breakdown:</p> <ul> <li>Build project plans down to the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) level, involving team participation. </li><li>Create detailed schedules, milestones, and deliverables. </li></ul> <p>Budget Management and Risk Mitigation:</p> <ul> <li>Develop and manage project budgets. </li><li>Address project issues, risks, decisions, and assumptions. </li><li>Perform risk assessments and implement mitigation plans. </li></ul> <p>Benefits Realization and Value Add:</p> <ul> <li>Monitor project progress to ensure value realization </li><li>Assess benefits against project objectives. </li></ul> <p>Strategic Alignment:</p> <ul> <li>Analyze project proposals, considering time frames, funding constraints, and appropriate processes. </li><li>Ensure project goals align with overall business objectives. </li></ul> <p>Resource Management:</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for resource management across all project phases (discovery, planning, executing, monitoring/controlling, and closing). </li><li>Responsible for requesting resources, ensuring availability during necessary project phases, assigning tasks, and monitoring allocated resource hours. </li><li>Assign duties and responsibilities to project personnel. </li><li>Manage project activities to stay on schedule and within budget. </li></ul> <p>Value Management:</p> <ul> <li>Facilitate value identification process and deliver value achievement through project outcomes identified in approved Project Charter. </li><li>Ensure value achieved from project is transitioned appropriately to Operations, ensuring sustainability. </li></ul> <p>Stakeholder Management:</p> <ul> <li>Develop and maintain stakeholder mapping, communication, and reporting. </li><li>Resolve conflicts and dependencies across projects. </li><li>As a dedicated team member, you exemplify unwavering commitment to customer service. You'll use data-driven insights to make informed decisions, optimize processes, and drive project success. </li></ul> <p>Cross-Functional Collaboration:</p> <ul> <li>As a bridge between teams, you'll collaborate with stakeholders across departments. Your ability to foster cooperation, resolve conflicts, and build consensus will be critical. </li></ul> <p>Decision Making:</p> <ul> <li>Project Managers often face tough choices. Your sound judgment, based on data and stakeholder input, will guide project direction and mitigate risks. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree or higher </li><li>5+ years of Project Management, progressive leadership, and/or Change Execution experience required. </li><li>PMP Certification required within 18 months of hire </li></ul> <p>Preferred Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of the healthcare industry. </li></ul> <p>Pay Range</p> <p>$83,636.80 - $121,904.64</p> <p>Other Information</p> <p>Location - Greenville, NC - Hybrid - a few days onsite a week</p> <p>ECU Health</p> <p>About ECU Health</p> <p>ECU Health is a mission-driven, 1,708-bed academic health care system serving more than 1.4 million people in 29 eastern North Carolina counties.
