<p>Job Title: Construction Superintendent</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>We are seeking a dedicated Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage significant construction projects, including a large hospital build or ground-up bank headquarters in Lebanon, Indiana. The role requires leading projects from inception to completion, with a focus on commercial and educational buildings, such as K through 12 educational projects and water treatment facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a commitment to ensuring quality and safety standards are met.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Create the schedule in collaboration with the Project Manager. </li><li>Oversee site safety to ensure compliance with all regulations. </li><li>Create, maintain, and review all project documentation. </li><li>Provide project oversight and ensure quality control throughout the project lifecycle. </li><li>Communicate effectively with trades, subcontractors, clients, and owners. </li><li>Manage project materials and resources efficiently. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>10+ years of experience in commercial construction. </li><li>10+ years as a superintendent on ground-up projects. </li><li>Proven track record of managing at least 5 projects as the lead superintendent. </li><li>Experience with projects valued over $10 million. </li><li>Ability to travel to Lafayette, IN for a year or longer. </li><li>Permanent residence in central Indiana. </li><li>Proficiency in client-facing roles and communication. </li><li>Experience with Procore software. </li><li>Capability to create construction schedules. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Willingness to travel nationwide for up to 2 weeks at a time. </li><li>Healthcare construction project experience. </li><li>CHC certification. </li><li>K-12 construction experience. </li><li>Degree in Construction Management. </li><li>Experience with Microsoft Project. </li><li>Experience in water and wastewater projects. </li><li>Carpentry experience. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>The role is primarily on-site, with a typical work schedule of 40-50 hours per week, subject to seasonal and weather changes. Busy seasons may require working 5 days a week for 10 hours each day. The company values family time and offers immediate employment after hire.
