As a Behavioral Health Therapist on our team, you will utilize your specialized clinical knowledge and advanced clinical skills in psychotherapy, clinical counseling, diagnostic interviews, assessments and treatment plans to care for patients. Your work will directly impact the lives of your patients as you work to help them improve their overall well-being.</p> <p>A caregiver in this position works from 8:00AM - 5:00PM.</p> <p>A caregiver who excels in this role will:</p> <ul> <li>Provide individual, group, family and crisis counseling. </li><li>Utilize a clinical focus across the mental health spectrum from anxiety and depression to bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. </li><li>Participate in the development and implementation of assessments based on interdisciplinary treatment plans. </li><li>Consult with team members, statutory and voluntary agencies, and relatives to ensure compliance with the patient treatment plan. </li><li>Act as a liaison with patients, families, community support workers and facilities to obtain information and facilitate discharge planning. </li><li>Educate and provide resources to patients and families. </li><li>Supervise and/or train lower-level social workers, students or interns. </li><li>Process paperwork and complete clinical documentation. </li></ul> <p>Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:</p> <ul> <li>Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling or related field </li><li>Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Social Worker (LSW) </li><li>No record of substantiated ethics or patient abuse reports </li><li>Three years of experience in a behavioral health setting </li><li>Comprehensive knowledge of current psychotherapeutic techniques, theories and practices sufficient to evaluate, diagnose and counsel patients </li><li>Ability to concisely document clinical findings and patients' needs in an electronic medical record while navigating a multi-specialized behavioral health environment </li><li>Ability to communicate across different electronic platforms and across a broad geographic provide base </li></ul> <p>Our caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities.
