<p>Job Title: Mechanical Engineer</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>We are seeking a hands-on Mechanical Engineer to design, prototype, and scale the next generation of our rare-earth reactors. The successful candidate will own designs from concept through commissioning, working closely with machinists and researchers to transform ideas into operating systems.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Architect, model, and draw reactor subsystems, including thermal, vacuum, and materials handling, using CAD software (Fusion). </li><li>Specify components, tolerances, and materials suitable for high-temperature, corrosive, and vacuum environments. </li><li>Build and iterate on prototypes; conduct experiments and analyze data to inform design decisions. </li><li>Author procedures, test plans, and safety/operating documentation. </li><li>Collaborate with fabrication partners and support continuous improvement initiatives. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Proficiency in CAD (Fusion) software. </li><li>Hands-on experience with metal machining and shop tools. </li><li>Experience with high-temperature systems and/or vacuum hardware. </li><li>Detail-oriented with the ability to execute technical tasks precisely. </li><li>Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, build-measure-learn environment. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience in chemistry is advantageous. </li><li>Availability to start soon is preferred. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>You will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, utilizing advanced technologies and equipment.
