<p>The Adjunct Faculty member in Quality Management will deliver high-quality instruction for Workforce & Continuing Education programs or corporate customers related to quality principles, continuous improvement, process management, and organizational excellence. The instructor is responsible for creating an engaging learning environment, assessing student performance, and maintaining academic standards consistent with departmental and institutional expectations.</p> <ul> <li> <p>Teach assigned courses in Fundamentals of Quality, Quality Management, and Core Tools, such as:</p> </li><li> <p>Introduction to Quality Management</p> </li><li> <p>Total Quality Management (TQM)</p> </li><li> <p>Six Sigma and Lean Principles</p> </li><li> <p>Plan, Do, Check, Act</p> </li><li> <p>Introduction to Waste Reduction</p> </li><li> <p>APQP-Advanced Product Quality Planning</p> </li><li> <p>MSA-Management System Analysis</p> </li><li> <p>Blueprint Reading GDT</p> </li><li> <p>Statistical Process Control (SPC)</p> </li><li> <p>Process Improvement Methods</p> </li><li> <p>Develop, update, and deliver course syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments aligned with program outcomes.</p> </li><li> <p>Facilitate student learning through lectures, discussions, case studies, simulations, and applied projects.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain active communication with students; provide timely and meaningful feedback on assignments and assessments.</p> </li><li> <p>Use the institution's learning management system (LMS) to post materials, track grades, and communicate with students.</p> </li><li> <p>Assess student performance fairly and consistently in accordance with institutional policies.</p> </li><li> <p>Complete training for various instructional delivery modalities.</p> </li><li> <p>Attend Faculty Development Days and/or Institutional Development Days as schedule permits and applicable.</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in Learning Unit committees as schedule permits.</p> </li><li> <p>Other duties as assigned in compliance with the AAFMCC collective bargaining agreement.</p> </li></ul> <p>Bachelor's degree in quality management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a closely related field.10 years of demonstrated expertise in quality systems, continuous improvement, and recognized methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma.</p>
