Our team is focused on providing a welcoming and supportive environment for both clients and pets. This experience begins the moment a client walks through our doors and continues throughout every interaction -- from obtaining accurate histories and assisting in exams to performing skilled veterinary care and educating clients on treatment plans. This full-time position would require 30-40 hours per week, including some weekends and holidays.</p> <p>Job Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Support veterinarians to ensure quality veterinary care, advocate for pets, and educate clients. </li><li>With each hospital function, assist veterinarians and the medical team to maximize productivity and maintain positive patient flow </li><li>Perform venipuncture and catheter placement </li><li>Assist with surgeries and procedures, including anesthesia preparation, monitoring, and recovery </li><li>Assist in maintaining relevant, comprehensive medical records with the support of practice systems </li><li>Be willing to guide, mentor and support fellow team members </li></ul> <p>Job Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Veterinary Technician licensure preferred but not required </li><li>1-2 years of clinical veterinary experience strongly preferred </li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, squatting, reach, standing, and walking throughout the day. </li></ul> <p>Who We Are</p> <p>Thrive Pet Healthcare is united by our mission to create the future of pet well-being through medical excellence, innovative technology, and a connected community of teams and partners.
