<p>WSH Management is currently recruiting for a highly motivated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Long Beach.</p> <p>Maintenance Technician Job Description</p> <p>The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for completing work orders, maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the property, performing preventative maintenance tasks, and responding promptly to emergency calls The ideal candidate can handle a variety of tasks simultaneously, while also delivering a high level of customer service.</p> <p>Maintenance Technician Job Duties:</p> <p>90% dedicated to basic maintenance duties and 10% of duties will be dedicated to cleaning.</p> <ul> <li>Address work orders related to electrical repairs, plumbing issues, basic HVAC maintenance, appliance repairs, and exterior maintenance tasks </li><li>Ensure the property's interior and exterior are maintained in excellent condition. </li><li>Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance as needed. </li><li>Prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently. </li><li>Deliver exceptional customer service to residents and stakeholders. </li><li>Collaborate with team members to complete tasks and resolve issues promptly. </li><li>Maintain a detail-oriented approach to all duties. </li><li>Respond proactively to maintenance needs and emergencies. </li><li>May perform other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>What we Offer:</p> <ul> <li>Salary: $24.00 to $25.00 per hour </li><li>On-call for after-hours emergencies </li><li>Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and 401k with employer match </li><li>Paid vacation and 15 paid company holidays </li><li>Full time: 40 hours per week </li></ul> <p>Maintenance Technician Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma (or equivalent). </li><li>Requires a minimum of one (1) year relevant experience or apartment maintenance experience </li><li>On call and weekend service experience. </li><li>Effective written and verbal communication skills. </li><li>Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required. </li><li>Proven working experience in electrical, plumbing, appliance repairs etc. </li><li>Proven working experience as a janitor / porter. </li><li>Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery. </li><li>Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies. </li><li>Familiarity with Safety Data Sheets. </li><li>Candidate must have own transportation (Federal mileage rates and guidelines apply). </li><li>Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain current auto insurance. (Motor vehicle report review is part of the hiring process.). </li><li>Candidate will be required to pass a background and drug screening.
