<p>At CCL Tube we provide state-of-the-art packaging solutions in plastic tubes and innovative product labeling, to some of the world's largest producers of consumer brands in personal care, cosmetics, & pharmaceutical products.</p> <p>The Wilkes-Barre, PA facility has an immediate opening for Production Supervisor for our night shift (PM) staff</p> <p>This position is a 5 shift per week schedule with flexible hours and days.</p> <p>Discover new challenges with an industry leader!</p> <p>SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:</p> <p>Plans, organizes, facilitates, trains, supervises, and exercises leadership of efficient and effective utilization of personnel, equipment and material resources. Maintains personnel, production, quality, and safety requirements by performing the following duties.</p> <p>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Supervises daily activities of production personnel such as but not limited to Shift Supervisors, Machine Operators and Packers. </li><li>Routinely reviews production, quality control, and other department records to verify accuracy and ensure timely recording of information and data processing. </li><li>Prepares shift report on daily production and quality related issues. </li><li>Preforms daily line start-up and checks. </li><li>Check job buckets, required tooling and materials before change-over start-ups. </li><li>Coordinates with other department supervisors and management to provide efficient flow of material, components or finish products needed to support other operations, warehousing or shipping. </li><li>Coordinates the timely procurement and delivery of materials, parts, and/or components needed to support the department's work process. </li><li>Provides employee training, safety training, equipment operation training, and work instructions as required. </li><li>Conducts accident investigations and promptly coordinates corrective actions. </li><li>Examines items produced to determine if items meet specifications. </li><li>Studies production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment. </li><li>Enforces company policies and safety regulations to workers. </li><li>Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules. </li><li>Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product. </li><li>Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew. </li><li>Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems. </li><li>Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals. </li><li>Maintains time and production records. </li><li>Performs activities of workers supervised. </li></ul>
