This approach promotes a balanced work environment that combines office collaboration with the comfort and convenience of remote work."</p> <p>The General Manager (GM) will oversee the operational, strategic and financial performance of the UK & Ireland locations. This role requires a dynamic leader with a strong background in software sales and operations management. As GM you will be responsible for driving growth, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining operational excellence across the country.</p> <p>The GM is a highly visible and influential role and is accountable for delivering the P&L and growth objectives.</p> <p>The GM is providing business, market, product strategy and direction; sales strategy; revenue and has P&L ownership; overall planning, coordinating; recruiting; and management of all aspects of the UK & Ireland business together in conjunction with the relevant matrix managers.</p> <p>The GM will play a lead role in driving the continued growth and success of the business in the UK & Ireland Region. This will be achieved by creating and executing the business strategy to deliver revenue growth through a combination of new name customers and cross-sell/up-sell initiatives within the existing customer base.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <p>Strategic Leadership:</p> <ul> <li>Develop and implement regional strategies in alignment with the company's overall objectives </li><li>Identify market opportunities and create plans to capture new business </li><li>Drive regional sales and growth initiatives to achieve ambitious revenue targets </li><li>Maintain a culture of accountability and compliance within the team </li></ul> <p>Operations Management:</p> <ul> <li>Oversee daily operations within the region, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness </li><li>Implement best practice to enhance operational performance </li><li>Accurately manage regional budgets and allocate resource effectively </li></ul> <p>Team Leadership:</p> <ul> <li>Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing regional team inside the companies reporting matrix </li><li>Foster a positive and productive work environment for all </li><li>Ensure continuous professional development of team members </li></ul> <p>Customer Relationship Management:</p> <ul> <li>Maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders </li><li>Address and resolve customer issues promptly and effectively </li><li>Ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty </li></ul> <p>Product and pricing Management:</p> <ul> <li>Manage regional product offerings and pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness and profitability </li><li>Authority to approve non-standard pricing to meet customer specific needs and market conditions </li><li>Work closely with the product development and marketing teams to align regional offerings with market demands. </li><li>Develop and implement corrective actions to address any performance gap </li></ul> <p>Financial Performance:</p> <ul> <li>Drive and monitor regional financial performance, expenses and profitability </li><li>Prepare and present regular financial and operational reports to senior management </li><li>Develop and implement corrective actions to address any performance gap </li></ul> <p>Skills, Knowledge and Experience:</p> <p>The GM needs to demonstrate the following skills and experience:</p> <ul> <li>Previous experience of leading in senior management positions within the software industry </li><li>Proven track record of driving sales growth and operational excellence </li><li>Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets </li><li>Exceptional leadership and team management skills </li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills </li><li>Ability to think strategically and execute tactically </li><li>Excellent decision making, critical thinking and problem-solving skills </li><li>Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment </li><li>Commercial awareness and ability to drive results in a competitive environment </li><li>Experience working within a matrix organisation and effectively managing cross functional relationships </li><li>Advanced computer experience with the MS Office Suite such as Excel and PowerPoint </li><li>European languages an advantage </li></ul> <p>Company Info</p> <p>You may also have seen from our recent posts that we are excited to begin sharing our new company name - Kerridge Commercial Systems (KCS) is becoming Klipboard this year!</p> <p>Our new Klipboard brand is designed to bring together our expertise across distribution, automotive, retail, rental, transport management, manufacturing, and field service management.
