If you are passionate in the field of early childhood and want to make a difference in the early years of a child's life, The Children's Workshop is the place to be!</p> <p>Summary</p> <p>The Lead Teacher will accept the philosophy of The Children's Workshop and will work as part of the teaching team to provide a safe and developmentally appropriate program in accordance with all relevant company and state regulations, policies and procedures.</p> <p>Requirements</p> <p>To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge and skills required.</p> <p>Education/Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Associate's, Bachelor's or Master's degree in Early Childhood Education or Early Childhood Special Education preferred </li><li>Applicable state certification </li></ul> <p>Rhode Island: RIELS or RIELDS certificate relevant to the position in accordance with BrightStars Standards</p> <p>Massachusetts: Must hold Department of Early Education and Care teacher certification in applicable age group, lead teacher certification preferred</p> <ul> <li>3+ months of supervised experience with an ECE degree OR 3+ years of supervised experience without an ECE degree </li></ul>
