<p>Ohio Department of Public Safety - Bureau of Motor Vehicles/Driver Exam Services/District 2 Norwalk</p> <p>Report in Location: 142 Cleveland Road, Norwalk, 44857</p> <p>Work Hours: Tuesday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. & Saturday 8:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.</p> <p>Perks of Working for the Ohio Department of Public Safety</p> <ul> <li>Multiple pay increases over the first years of service! </li><li>Free Parking! </li></ul> <p>What You'll Do as a Driver License Examiner 2 (Lead Worker)</p> <ul> <li>Act as lead worker over driver license examiners &/or clerical employees at one or multiple driver examining stations & directs all routine operations of station during business hours: </li><li>Leads lower-level driver examiners & clerical personnel in the daily duties of examination station; Provides training & guidance to new examiners & clerks; </li><li>Assists examiners with understanding test processes in order to properly communicate test results & reasoning for grading; </li><li>Complete training & observation reports for staff as requested; </li><li>Checks test appointment schedules to ensure fairness & maximum number of assignments have been made; </li><li>Resolves disputes between applicants/public & station employees. </li></ul> <p>Click here to see full position description</p> <p>Option 1</p> <p>Formal education in arithmetic that includes calculating fractions, decimals & percentages & in reading, writing & speaking English;</p> <p>AND 24 mos. trg. or 24 mos. exp. in laws & signs applicable for operation of all types of motorized vehicles & Bureau of Motor Vehicles' rules, policies & procedures governing testing for & issuance of licenses;</p> <p>AND valid Ohio Class 'D' Driver license.</p> <p>Option 2</p> <p>Or 24 mos. exp. as Driver License Examiner 1, 24331; valid Ohio Class 'D' Driver License.</p> <p>Helpful Tips for Applying:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Be detailed when describing your current/previous work duties.
