This role is ideal for a seasoned platform/infrastructure engineer who enjoys working directly with AWS services, advanced networking, automation, and CloudFormation to build secure, reliable, high-performance cloud platforms.</p> <p>You will play a critical role in designing, deploying, and supporting critical AWS infrastructure initiatives, solve complex cloud challenges, and make a meaningful impact across large, modern environments. If you're looking for a role that offers technical depth, influence, and the chance to work at scale, apply today and take the next step in your career!</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience </li><li>5+ years of infrastructure-focused cloud engineering experience in enterprise environments </li><li>Extensive hands-on AWS experience: native services, OAuth, Lambda, CloudFormation, and AWS networking </li><li>Deep AWS networking expertise (PrivateLink, Security Groups, Route53, VPC, VPCe) </li><li>Strong knowledge of authentication/authorization (SCP, KMS, IAM policies & roles) </li><li>Proven experience designing, deploying, and automating CloudFormation Templates with CI/CD </li><li>Proficiency with Python & Shell scripting, EKS, Jenkins, Git (BitBucket), and Artifactory </li><li>Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, and Confluence </li><li>Broad platform knowledge across databases, directory services, containers, Linux, network infrastructure, and cloud security fundamentals </li><li>Hands-on platform-level support for cloud-based applications </li><li>AWS Solutions Architect - Professional certification (required) </li><li>AWS Backup or AWS Bedrock experience is a plus </li><li>Excellent communication skills; self-driven, collaborative, and solutions-oriented </li></ul> <p>EEO Employer</p> <p>Apex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
