<p>PURPOSE OF THE JOB</p> <p>The Oasis Operator role is responsible for supporting daily manufacturing operations through packaging, cleaning, material handling, quality checks, shipping activities, housekeeping, and team relief coverage. This role will primarily work in the production area and plays a critical part in maintaining production flow, material quality, plant cleanliness, and on-time shipment of finished goods. The Oasis Operator supports plant operations by responding to operational needs throughout the shift.</p> <p>Shift Schedule: Day Shift M-Th 6am-6pm or Tues-Friday 6am-6pm</p> <p>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Coordinate daily trailer requirements with the Warehouse Coordinator based on the production schedule </li><li>Reclaim off-quality fiber and refeed material back to the formers according to process standards </li><li>Inspect finished product to ensure quality meets specifications </li><li>Ensure proper forming and stretch-wrapping of finished goods </li><li>Perform material handling activities, including operating a forklift and loading/unloading trucks </li><li>Ship materials using SAP and verify shipping documentation accuracy </li><li>Perform general housekeeping duties in assigned areas, including sweeping floors, blowing down lines, and cleaning common areas </li><li>Assist with preventative maintenance activities as assigned </li><li>Complete special tasks or assignments as determined by plant leadership </li><li>Participate in plant safety, housekeeping, and continuous improvement programs </li><li>Provide break relief coverage for team members as needed. Provides coverage for team members and attends required meetings outside of normal scheduled days as needed </li></ul> <p>JOB REQUIREMENTS</p> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent </li><li>Must show proof of authorization to work in the U.S. </li><li>Must be 18 years or older </li></ul> <p>PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:</p> <ul> <li>1 - 3 years manufacturing experience </li></ul> <p>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to read, write, and speak English </li><li>Must be able to understand verbal and written instructions </li><li>Must possess strong communication and organizational skills </li><li>Must have the ability to multi-task </li><li>Must have strong internal and external customer service skills </li><li>Must work well in team environment </li><li>Must be able to work independently </li><li>Must have to ability to do intermediate mathematical calculations </li><li>Ability to follow safety procedures and plant policies at all times </li></ul> <p>Nearest Major Market: Columbus</p> <p>Nearest Secondary Market: Dublin</p>
