KENT Precision Foods Group, a member of the KENT Corporation family of companies, has a fantastic opportunity to join their team as a Lead Sanitation Technician at their Bolingbrook, IL location on 3rd shift!</p> <p>The position of the Sanitation Lead will follow, enforce and monitor process controls, operating procedures, and requirements set up by the FDA and upper management for the sanitation of facility, machines and equipment. Responsible for backing up the Sanitation Supervisor for communicating activities and recommendations on cleaning schedule between production and sanitation department.</p> <ul> <li>"The compensation range for this role is $21 to $25 per hr, in addition to KENT standard benefits (health, dental, vision, 401k). Final compensation is subject to variation based on the candidate's skills, job responsibilities, location and other pertinent factors." </li></ul> <p>PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Ensures each member of the Sanitation crew adheres to company Lock Out Tag Out and food safety procedures. </li><li>Ensures each member of the Sanitation crew has been trained on how to safely handle and distinguish between authorized sanitation chemicals. </li><li>Ensures each member of the Sanitation crew adheres to all company GMPs and follows company directives on regulatory, product quality, sanitation, food safety, employee and environmental standards. </li><li>Directs and distributes daily work load amongst sanitation technicians. </li><li>Effectively communicates with Production, Warehouse, Maintenance and Quality, focusing on conducting effective and timely sanitation of specific areas within the food processing environment and pieces of equipment. </li><li>Works with Sanitation Supervisor and Quality to develop and implement new procedures, techniques, and testing plans for monitoring effectiveness of sanitation. </li><li>Assists in departmental training related to SOPs, GMPs, and procedural adherence and documentation. </li><li>Monitors performance of sanitation crew to assure cleaning of food equipment and food processing environment is conducted per SOP requirements. </li><li>Performs Routine Sanitation work including but not limited to area assessment, organization, cleaning, sanitizing and auditing </li><li>Under direction of Sanitation Supervisor, generates work orders, tool checklists, chemical control, assists with the documentation maintenance of the Master Sanitation Schedule and other operations related GMPs </li><li>Performs all other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to work in varying temperature conditions. </li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 pounds including above head and below the waist for 50% or more of shift. </li><li>Ability to stand for long periods. </li><li>Must be able to work at line speed with the ability to make coordinated hand and finger movements. </li><li>Maintains a forklift operators permit </li></ul>
