<p>Responsibilities</p> <p>(This is a hybrid role, working 3 days in the office and 2 from home.)</p> <p>Join a dynamic organization driven by our passion for healthcare. As a leader in acute care and behavioral health, UHS provides high-quality care to over 3 million patients annually, across our national network of facilities.</p> <p>The UHS Corporate Finance Department is hiring an Assistant Manager- Real Estate to oversee and coordinate real estate activities for UHS facilities.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Works with real estate management and facility operational team members to identify real estate needs (including land acquisition) in UHS markets.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensures real estate portfolio is cost effectively managed.</p> </li><li> <p>Proactively evaluates space needs.</p> </li><li> <p>Analyzes and negotiates business terms from LOI (Letter of Intent) through closing of transactions.</p> </li><li> <p>With input from real estate management, negotiates leases, lease renewal terms, purchase and sale agreements, coordinates relocations, expansions and renovations.</p> </li><li> <p>Works closely with real estate management, in-house and outside counsel in the review and drafting of various real estate documents including, but not limited to, leases, assignments, purchase and sale agreements, and related documents.</p> </li><li> <p>At the direction of real estate management, oversees the day-to-day site selection process (lease and acquisition) individually and by working with brokers, design and construction team members, architects and facility/operations personnel.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists in the review and provides feedback on due diligence materials and issues including zoning, title, surveys, property condition assessments, and environmental reports.</p> </li><li> <p>Utilizes an electronic lease/portfolio management system.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Bachelor's degree required with 3-7 years of experience required.</p> <ul> <li> <p>Superior analytical skills and experience with both CoStar and Microsoft Office computer applications (especially Excel).</p> </li><li> <p>Strong analytical ability.</p> </li><li> <p>Able to work independently and as part of a team.</p> </li><li> <p>Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in written documents and presentations.</p> </li></ul> <p>This opportunity provides a rewarding career, challenging and rewarding work environment as well as growth and development opportunities within UHS and its subsidiaries, including competitive compensation, excellent Medical, Dental, Vision and Prescription Drug Plan, and 401k with company match.</p> <p>One of the nation's largest and most respected providers of hospital and healthcare services, Universal Health Services, Inc.
