<p>Position: Middle School Sub-Separate Classroom Aide (2025-2026)</p> <p>Location: Boston, MA (Jamaica Plain Campus)</p> <p>Start date: August 1, 2025</p> <p>OVERVIEW OF ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>Match Charter Public School an opening for a sub-separate classroom aide to start in the 2025-2026 school year. The position is based at Match Middle School, located on 215 Forest Hills St. in Jamaica Plain. The aide will support the success of a student with special needs who will learn in the middle school's sub-separate classroom. The aide will be expected to provide help with implementation of skills and goals in line with the students' educational, physical, and social-emotional needs. Throughout the school day, the aide will support the students during instructional times both in and out of the classroom, and during lunch, breaks, and other non-instructional times. The student is wheelchair-bound and will need support with:</p> <ul> <li>academic and social-emotional needs </li><li>navigating wheelchair throughout the school </li><li>toileting and diaper changes </li></ul> <p>The aide is an integral member of our school team and collaborates closely with teachers, leaders, and the student's family. It is a great opportunity for someone who relishes the idea of working with a student with special needs.</p> <p>This is a full-time position. Compensation is $52,499.20 annual salary and can be higher if the candidate has prior relevant experience.
