This role ensures that all products are manufactured in accordance with established quality and safety specifications.</p> <p>Responsibilites:</p> <ul> <li>Operate plastic extrusion machine at a rate that equals or exceeds quality and production standards </li><li>Troubleshoot routine process problems, and assist with tooling and product changeovers </li><li>Maintain adequate supplies for all line equipment to ensure continual operation </li><li>Complete required quality checks and production reports in an efficient and timely manner </li><li>Follow all Standard Operating Procedures, Safety Standards and Safe Work Practices </li><li>Maintain work area in an organized, safe and clean manner </li><li>Provide relief to other members of team as necessary </li><li>Able to perform Packer functions </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>2+ years of extrusion experience </li><li>2+ years manufacturing experience, preferably in the plastics industry </li><li>Demonstrated mechanical aptitude is essential </li><li>Ability to work independently as well as working with others effectively as a part of a team is essential </li><li>Flexibility to work overtime and off shifts as needed </li></ul> <p>Pactiv Evergreen is now a part of Novolex.
