<p>Job Title: Senior Accountant (Financial Reporting)</p> <p>Position Will Report To: Manager, Financial Reporting at the Houston, Texas office</p> <p>Onsite Placement: League City, Texas - Houston, Texas - New York, New York & Des Moines, Iowa (Monday-Friday / 8:00 am-4:30 pm) Full-Time, Exempt --PLEASE NOTE: Must be available to perform job functions outside of normal business hours during peak periods to fulfill essential functions</p> <p>You will provide crucial support in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our financial reports across departments.</p> <p>Accepting internal applications through end of business day, July 28, 2025.</p> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <ul> <li>Prepare monthly and quarterly internal management reports </li><li>Ensure compliance with internal controls </li><li>Communicate with all finance departments and auditors </li><li>Prepare journal entries for accruals, reconciliations, and adjustments as assigned </li><li>Analyze financial statements for compliance with standards </li><li>Prepare external disclosures for GAAP reporting </li><li>Provide accounting guidance and transfer knowledge to team members </li></ul> <p>What We Are Looking For:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance; Relevant work experience considered </li><li>Financial reporting experience </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel </li><li>Knowledge in SAP, Workiva, and Blackline - beneficial </li><li>Strong ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines </li><li>Accuracy and diligence in self-review of work </li><li>Well-organized, able to multi-task, and work independently </li><li>High-level of initiative, follow-through, and accountability </li><li>Strong critical thinking skills </li><li>Ability to perform job functions outside of normal business hours during peak periods to fulfill essential functions </li></ul>
