<p>Job Summary</p> <p>Plumber 1 Job Summary</p> <p>Performs advanced and routine troubleshooting and diagnostics on complex plumbing systems including gas systems, hydronic piping systems, water supply systems and drainage systems, special piping systems utilized in research, natatorium systems, and industrial piping systems. Independently manages plumbing maintenance projects. Ensures compliance with plumbing codes, regulatory guidelines, safety regulations, and institutional standards. Establishes preventative maintenance routines and performs replacement, installation and maintenance of plumbing systems and their components. Assists with training, mentoring, and leading other plumbers under the guidance of the Crew Lead Plumbing. Performs other functionally related duties as assigned.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>Plumber 1 Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma, GED or state recognized equivalent. </li><li>Completion of four (4) year accredited plumbing apprenticeship program. </li><li>Asbestos Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Certification, Backflow Prevention Certification, Confined Space Certification, and Fall Protection Certification or ability to obtain certifications within one (1) year of hire. </li><li>Two (2) years experience as journeyman plumber. </li><li>Ability to work second shift, weekends, and on call-hours as required. </li><li>Ability to lift and carry fifty (50) pounds.
