Or, as we like to put it: BENTELER makes it happen!</p> <p>Position Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for the SC cost calculation of new projects/products (Process "Acquire & Quote") / (K1) </li><li>Develops and implements detailed concepts along the entire value chain for Process "Develop & Launch" and Process "Make & Deliver" including ongoing optimization (K2 and K3) </li><li>Process mapping (value stream) costs of: transport, containers, warehousing and inventory capital commitment </li><li>Supply Chain transparency; stock and container posting procedures in SAP incl. respective SC master data and SAP parameters </li><li>Develops layout plans ensuring lean material flow </li><li>Identifies bottle necks, tracks the respective supply chains and initiates countermeasures </li><li>Supports plants and customer lines to handle urgent planning requests </li><li>Supports the standardization and optimization of planning tools, Logistics equipment's (container, shelves, label, internal transport vehicle, line feeding ..) and processes </li><li>Supports the implementation of lean elements such as KanBan, internal milk run and supermarket in the plants </li><li>Material supply to the production line, line feeding, material replenishment </li><li>Prepares SC data and quotation documents for negotiations with service providers; collects and tracks contract conditions (e.g. transit lead times, prices, service ..) </li><li>Defines standard regulations for containers; in some cases: develops and tests special containers </li><li>Optimizes the packaging at JIS and components plants </li><li>Provides support to all activities assigned by the direct supervisor. </li></ul> <p>Position Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain / Operations or Engineering, advanced education preferred </li><li>Minimum 2 years management of customer portals </li><li>SAP experience a plus </li><li>5 years of experience in automotive </li></ul> <p>Your contact</p> <p>Ron Maynard</p> <p>BENTELER Human Resources</p> <p>Phone:</p> <p>Your new employer</p> <p>The BENTELER Group always has the answer.
