<p>Job Description:</p> <p>The Division of Humanities and Learning Communities is looking to hire Adjunct Faculty to teach for the Global Languages Department.</p> <ul> <li>Teach in-person Arabic courses. </li><li>Teaching various levels and sections of ARB-101 (Elementary Arabic I), ARB-102 (Elementary Arabic II). </li><li>Courses are offered fully in-person on campus (Charlestown and Chelsea campuses). </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree or Ph.D. in Arabic or related field. </li><li>Experience teaching various levels and sections of ARB-101 (Elementary Arabic I), ARB-102 (Elementary Arabic II). </li><li>Evidence of engagement in culturally responsive pedagogies. </li><li>Experience with high-impact teaching and learning practices (examples: undergraduate research, community engagement, critical pedagogies, learning communities). </li><li>Proven ability to work with a diverse faculty, staff, and student population. </li><li>Community college teaching experience preferred. </li><li>Ability to teach courses on campus in an in-person setting at BHCC's Charlestown or Chelsea campuses. </li></ul> <p>Additional Information:</p> <p>Salary: $1,397.00 Per Credit Hour</p> <ul> <li>Applicants who do not meet the qualifications as noted above are encouraged to put in writing precisely how their background and experience has prepared them with the equivalent combination of education, training and experience required for the responsibilities of this position. </li><li>Please note that as a condition of employment, the final candidate will undergo Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) and Sex Offender Registry Information (SORI) background screenings in accordance with state regulations.
