At Kimball Midwest, you are a name and not a number and we pride ourselves on our unique culture.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Our Customer Service Support Tier I role is the first point of contact for resolving customer issues, taking payments, providing account documents, and maintaining records of interactions and resolutions.</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for serving as the first point of contact in the Credit & Collections department for customer inquiries via phone and email </li><li>Answers incoming phone calls, takes payments, resolves issues for customers and provides invoice and statement copies to customers upon request </li><li>Updates customer accounts with payment arrangements, contact information and relevant notes from interactions </li><li>Escalates accounts requiring further action to the appropriate team members or management, providing all necessary documentation and context </li><li>Collaborates with internal teams, including sales, finance and marketing to address and resolve customer issue efficiently </li><li>Provides superior customer service </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience in a customer service support role ( at least one year) </li><li>Experience in a call center is preferred </li><li>Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening </li><li>Ability to multitask </li><li>Comfortable handling high call volume </li><li>Intermediate computer literacy in Microsoft Office applications </li><li>High School diploma or equivalent </li></ul> <p>Additional Information</p> <p>This is a Monday-Friday role.
