<p>Kforce is immediately adding a full-time High Performance Computer Administrator in support of our industry leading technology development client in Shelton, CT. Our client is seeking candidates who are driven to make positive changes to the way people live and work by creating breakthrough technology solutions.</p> <p>Duties Include:</p> <ul> <li>On-site technical support for the company environment (SGI 8600 compute systems and supporting infrastructure) </li><li>Administration and operational support for Company CM cluster management </li><li>Support for the DMF storage environment, including coordinating upgrades and system health monitoring, working with DMF team </li><li>CDU cooling system maintenance and troubleshooting </li><li>Hardware diagnostics and coordination with the site admin to maintain system stability </li><li>Supporting the site admin </li><li>Facilitation of weekly operational meetings* 8+ years of professional experience and a Bachelor of Arts/Science or equivalent degree in Computer Science or related area of study; Without a degree, three additional years of relevant professional experience (11+ years in total) </li><li>Demonstrate strong knowledge in at least three major technology areas </li><li>Technical expertise is sought after and provided to several projects/accounts </li><li>Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of assigned technology and discipline area </li><li>Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of corporate organization and policies </li><li>Advanced level business, technical, or functional knowledge </li></ul> <p>Skillsets may include but are not exclusive of the following:</p> <ul> <li>Emerson Aperture Product Awareness </li><li>Insight Control Product Overview </li><li>Integrated Lights-Out (iLO) </li><li>Operations Orchestration Solution </li><li>VCenter </li><li>VMotion </li><li>VMware </li><li>vSphere 4.x </li></ul>
