<p>This Inpatient Physical Therapist Boston will be responsible for the following:</p> <ul> <li>Performing complex diagnostic evaluations upon referral and in accordance with departmental and professional guidelines and standards </li><li>Reviewing patient medical history/record and selects, administers, and interprets standardized and non-standardized tests and measurements to assess patients' functional status related to cardiopulmonary, developmental, musculoskeletal, neurological, and sensorimotor function. </li><li>Integrating knowledge into clinical decisions and recommendations </li><li>Developing and implementing individualized patient treatment programs. </li><li>Establishing treatment goals and administers appropriate physical therapy procedures and modalities </li><li>Discharge plans and home treatment programs, and providing education to patients and families </li><li>Recommending orthotics, adaptive/assistive equipment, and technology for patients with complex, rare, or multiple dysfunctions. </li><li>Liaison with equipment designers and vendors regarding equipment specifications and patient needs. </li><li>Training patients, families, and caretakers in the use/operation of prescribed orthotics/equipment, monitoring and evaluating effectiveness, and initiating modifications as needed. </li><li>Recording assessments, diagnoses, and treatment inpatient medical records according to established documentation standards. </li><li>Preparing reports, correspondence, referrals, and other materials for schools, providers, payers, and others as needed. </li><li>Assigning standardized billing codes and corresponding charges required for reimbursement. </li></ul> <p>To qualify, you must have:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in physical therapy, and one to two years of previous physical therapy experience preferred.
