<p>Job Title: Water Wastewater Engineer</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>We are seeking a motivated Civil Engineer to support water and wastewater infrastructure projects across Florida. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about sustainable design, municipal systems, and delivering impactful engineering solutions.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Provide technical planning, design, permitting, and construction support on various water utility projects including collection systems, pump stations, wastewater treatment, reclaimed water, and water distribution. </li><li>Prepare engineering calculations and analyze alternatives. </li><li>Develop design reports and construction plans adhering to local and state standards. </li><li>Produce construction plans using AutoCAD 3D, Civil 3D, and prepare plans and specifications. </li><li>Assist with permit submittals and prepare preliminary project cost estimates. </li><li>Evaluate project quantities and assist in reviewing the scope, budget, and schedule of new project tasks. </li><li>Monitor task budget and progress, document design changes, and maintain communications. </li><li>Conduct on-site inspections as necessary and prepare project status reports. </li><li>Aid in proposal preparation and assist Project Managers. </li><li>Attend various meetings including client progress, plan review, and preconstruction. </li><li>Manage project tasks and/or projects, participate in professional associations, and maintain excellent client relations. </li><li>Ensure a safe working environment. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Civil engineering with a focus on wastewater, stormwater, water main, and sanitary sewer systems. </li><li>Experience in designing pipelines, pump stations, and treatment facilities. </li><li>Proficiency in hydraulic modeling using tools like WaterCAD, SewerCAD, or similar. </li><li>Strong skills in AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation for plan production. </li><li>Ability to prepare technical documentation including engineering reports, construction documents, and specifications. </li><li>Experience in project coordination with multidisciplinary teams and regulatory agencies. </li><li>EIT Certification required; PE license preferred or ability to obtain within 12 months. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Familiarity with GIS and permitting processes. </li><li>Strong skills in project coordination and client relations. </li><li>Excellent ability to document design changes and communicate effectively. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>The position offers a flexible work environment with options for both office and remote work.
