We also offer company-provided short-term disability, an employee assistance program, and a wellness program.</p> <p>Position Overview:</p> <p>The Corporate Event Specialist position is a part of the CCM Events Team and is responsible for coordinating and executing event programming onsite at our Corporate Headquarters, as well as assisting in the administrative side of national event initiatives, in support of the National Events Manager & VP of Experiential Marketing. This role has visibility to multiple layers of the event process including vendor scouting, contracting, client relations, event execution, project management, and event metrics. This role supports CrossCountry Mortgage's overall marketing strategy with internal and external facing events, increasing employee retention and satisfaction, brand awareness and engagement, and executing events that directly correlate to the companies ROI and continued success in the industry.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Conceptualize Events: Develop creative ideas and themes for corporate events, including conferences, meetings, product launches, trade shows, team-building events, and holiday parties, in line with the strategy determined by the National Events Manager.</p> </li><li> <p>Administrative: Assist in keeping our national event initiatives on track, including timeline management, checklists, spreadsheets, and post event metrics.</p> </li><li> <p>Budget Management: Prepare and manage event budgets, ensuring all activities are within financial constraints.</p> </li><li> <p>Timeline Development: Create detailed timelines and project plans to ensure events run smoothly and deadlines are met.</p> </li><li> <p>Vendor Sourcing: Research and hire vendors such as caterers, AV technicians, photographers, decorators, transportation companies, and security personnel.</p> </li><li> <p>Vendor Coordination: Manage the logistical coordination of vendor services and ensure timely deliveries and setup.</p> </li><li> <p>Client Liaison: Act as the main point of contact for internal stakeholders or clients to gather event requirements and preferences.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaboration with Teams: Work with cross-functional teams (marketing, HR, VIP's, Leadership) to ensure the event aligns with company objectives and branding.</p> </li><li> <p>Internal Updates: Provide regular updates on event progress to stakeholders.</p> </li><li> <p>Promotion Strategy: Create and implement marketing plans to promote events internally and externally (e.g., email campaigns, social media posts, flyers).</p> </li><li> <p>Event Branding: Ensure that the event reflects the corporate brand and messaging, including event materials, signage, and décor.</p> </li><li> <p>On-site Coordination: Oversee event setup and logistics, including the organization of registration desks, attendee flow, and signage.</p> </li><li> <p>Technology and AV Setup: Coordinate the setup of audio-visual equipment, including microphones, projectors, screens, and live streaming if required.</p> </li><li> <p>Coordination of Activities: Ensure all event activities (sessions, speakers, performances, etc.) run according to schedule.</p> </li><li> <p>Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive experience for event guests and participants.</p> </li><li> <p>Troubleshooting: Resolve any issues or emergencies that may arise during the event, such as technical difficulties or logistical problems.</p> </li><li> <p>Event Feedback: Collect attendee feedback post-event to evaluate success and gather insights for future improvements.</p> </li><li> <p>Budget Reconciliation: Finalize invoices and track spending, comparing it to the initial budget.</p> </li><li> <p>Follow-up: Send thank-you notes to participants, sponsors, vendors, and attendees.</p> </li><li> <p>Available to travel, about 20% of the time, when needed to affiliate locations as necessary.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications and Skills:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Hospitality, Event Management or related field, or equivalent combination of education/experience.</p> </li><li> <p>3+ years of experience in event planning or management, within a corporate setting preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience in vendor management, contract negotiation, and logistics.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with budgeting and financial management for events.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience developing unique themes and ideas to make events memorable and engaging.</p> </li><li> <p>Proficiency in event management software preferred (e.g., Swoogo, Cvent, Eventbrite).</p> </li><li> <p>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for event planning, budgeting, and reporting.</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of virtual event platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Webex, or others for hybrid or fully virtual events).</p> </li><li> <p>Familiarity with basic AV technology (sound systems, microphones, projectors, lighting).</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and teams simultaneously.</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent attention to detail, ensuring that all aspects of the event are thoroughly planned and executed.</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent communication and collaboration skills to communicate and build business relationships with clients, vendors, internal teams, stakeholders, and event attendees.</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent problem-solving skills to resolve issues and adjust plans and strategies in response to changes or unforeseen challenges.</p> </li></ul>
