INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS & RESUMES RECEIVED IN LIEU OF APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.</p> <p>CLASSIFICATION: NONINST 04 ($25.75-$29.87 per hour)</p> <p>SUMMARY: This position manages the Foundation's Scholarship Program and provides administrative support to the Executive Director and broader organization (approximately 50%). This includes overseeing scholarship application cycles, donor and volunteer coordination, event planning, and communication efforts.</p> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree </li><li>Five or more years in education or nonprofit roles desirable. </li><li>Must pass various pre-employment background screenings </li><li>Experience with postsecondary programs for low income and first-generation students desirable </li><li>Desire to work in a fast paced, small nonprofit that is making a difference </li><li>Adept at outreach with high school students </li><li>Experience with college admissions and financial aid applications desirable </li><li>Evidence of high-level organizational skills and ability to successfully manage and coordinate a number of projects and tasks. </li><li>Skills in effective oral and written communication of complex assessment/accountability results and concepts to various audiences, including decision makers, policy makers and parents. </li><li>Knowledge of English, spelling and grammar </li><li>Ability to be flexible and to handle multiple details at one time </li><li>Bilingual written/oral proficiency desired </li><li>Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks and competing deadlines </li><li>Schedule varies including early mornings and evening events </li><li>Bilingual in Spanish desired </li><li>Grant writing experience desired </li><li>Experience with tools such as Kaleidoscope, Bloomerang, Canva, Typeform, Firespring, Calendly, Mightycause, and Excel desired </li><li>Experience working with diverse cultures and backgrounds desired </li></ul> <p>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Oversee the full scholarship cycle using Kaleidoscope, including application updates, volunteer coordination, interview logistics, and applicant communications. </li><li>Provide year-round support to 100+ scholars, tracking progress, collecting documents, and maintaining communication. </li><li>Plan and host the Summer Bridge Program and New Scholar Orientation. </li><li>Present scholarship information to students; assist with applications and interview preparation. </li><li>Collaborate with Future Center staff on college planning and financial aid support. </li><li>Organize and lead the WPSF Award Ceremony. </li><li>Ensure compliance with grants supporting executive director. </li><li>Maintain regular communication with donors about scholar progress. </li><li>Generate and submit quarterly scholarship reports for internal and external use. </li><li>Provide monthly program reports to the Executive Director. </li><li>Represent the Foundation at community and school meetings. </li><li>Supervise interns and volunteers, particularly around scholarship and communications efforts. </li><li>Assist with event planning, fundraising, donor engagement, and data management (Bloomerang). </li><li>Support social media and marketing efforts, including flyer creation and post scheduling. </li><li>Help maintain and update the Foundation website. </li><li>Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Executive Director. </li></ul> <p>Westminster Public Schools is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
