Cape Regional Physicians Associates with over 60 primary care providers and specialists, delivers services in multiple locations throughout Cape May County.</p> <p>Experience Required</p> <ul> <li> <p>Responsible for setting up the patient in the exam room</p> </li><li> <p>Perform and Document:</p> </li><li> <p>Vital signs (manual BPs),</p> </li><li> <p>EKGs,</p> </li><li> <p>Reconciliation of medications</p> </li><li> <p>Reason for visit, health care concern</p> </li><li> <p>Interview/Discuss with patient changes in patient's health since the last visit</p> </li><li> <p>Assist the provider with minor surgical procedures</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare appropriate medications for injections</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for phone messages, faxes, and Medical Reception responsibilities as needed</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of medical insurance terminology, computer skills for scheduling, and familiarity with general office procedures and equipmen</p> </li></ul> <p>Education Requirements</p> <p>High School Diploma or equivalent required</p> <p>License/Certification Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Medical Assistant Certificate </li></ul> <p>Special Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Ability to handle high volume of interactions with frequent interruptions required </li><li>1-3 years of prior experience in ambulatory care preferred </li></ul>
