Position is not remote.</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Support development and mentoring for an undergraduate biocultural internship course at a community-based agroforestry restoration site in He'eia, O'ahu. </li><li>Assist with care (including planting, weeding and watering) and research (including vegetation, soil, and social surveys). </li><li>Help plan and carry out community work days and cultural workshops. </li><li>Lead and contribute to communication of project outcomes and progress. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Undergraduate degree in botany </li><li>Proficiency in 'Olelo Hawai'i and knowledge of biocultural dimensions of native and canoe plants </li><li>Experience working with Native Hawaiian led organizations and with Native Hawaiian agroforestry systems. </li><li>Excellent skills in oral and written communication. </li><li>Full-time classified graduate student pursuing a degree in topics related to biocultural restoration. </li></ul> <p>Desirable Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Connection to He'eia, O'ahu </li></ul> <p>To Apply:</p> <p>If you have not applied for a position before using NeoGov, you will need to create an account.
