We are committed to recruiting and retaining the best talent in the chemical manufacturing industry.</p> <p>Background</p> <ul> <li>Works under direct supervision of the Production Training Supervisor in a GMP regulated manufacturing environment operating under Q7A standards </li><li>Performs technical documentation duties, training development, training classes, GMP training document organization duties, special projects, and/or potentially work as a packager or operator as needed </li></ul> <p>Tasks</p> <ul> <li>Perform introductory training of new employees into Packaging & Operations Departments </li><li>Assist in the review, creation, and updating of SOP documents for all operations departments </li><li>Identify training needs and propose corrective actions for all operational staff </li><li>Organize GMP/Regulatory training documentation (safety, GMP, & Operator Skills), collaborating with both Quality and EHS departments on respective employee awareness development </li><li>Develop training program to smoothly transition existing employees into new roles </li><li>Develop and maintain training programs across the organization </li><li>Develop innovative training techniques to reduce mistakes, increase productivity, and enhance safety awareness across the organization </li><li>Develop and maintain training evaluation tools across the organization </li><li>Develop and maintain systems to optimize and troubleshoot across the organization </li><li>Work with On the Job Trainers in their tasks and roles to train newly transitioning employees </li><li>Assist administration of training for Packaging & Operations Departments and maintain employee training records </li><li>Enhance site safety </li></ul> <p>Specifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Superior education on administrative or technical background, technical desirable</p> </li><li> <p>Three (3) years experience in Packaging and/or Chemical Line Operations</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of:</p> </li><li> <p>Mathematics and English comprehension</p> </li><li> <p>Training needs assessment, adult learning techniques, and course development</p> </li><li> <p>Safety, health, and environmental rules and regulations, policies and procedures</p> </li><li> <p>MS Office</p> </li><li> <p>Skill in:</p> </li><li> <p>Effective oral and written communication with all levels of staff</p> </li><li> <p>Troubleshooting and product inspection</p> </li><li> <p>Operation control and monitoring</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to:</p> </li><li> <p>Develop and interpret training documents</p> </li><li> <p>Present information in professional and knowledgeable manner</p> </li><li> <p>Adapt to rapidly changing priorities based on business needs</p> </li><li> <p>Work off-shift/weekends as needed</p> </li><li> <p>Work in extreme cold and hot (120 F) environment</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to lift 55 pounds and drive fork truck in safe and efficient manner</p> </li><li> <p>Follow established policies and procedures</p> </li><li> <p>Operate and maintain chemical processing equipment</p> </li><li> <p>Pass pre-employment physical with drug screen and physical capabilities test</p> </li></ul>
