<p>Job Summary:</p> <p>Places sorted apparel on hangers and hangs on Z racks, tags, prices and prepares racks for transport. Directly impacts organizational sales (50% of Goodwill sales are associated with apparel sales).</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Places items on hangers and hangs on Z rack. </li><li>Prepares clothing racks for the store according to the store quality and pricing standards. </li><li>Uses pricing machine, adhesive price tags and tagging gun to price items in accordance with store standards and Store Manager's direction. </li><li>Meets or exceeds goals and standards of production and quality. </li><li>Accomplishes assigned cleaning routine. </li><li>Assists in the training of workers and consumers in cooperation with the Workforce Development Department staff. </li></ul> <p>Additional Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>CARF: Ensure documentation and compliance with CARF standards. </li><li>Safety: Maintain applicable safety standards, rules, and regulations in areas of responsibility. </li><li>Outcome Driven: Have S.M.A.R.T objectives to drive performance and improve Goodwill's value to the community. </li><li>Stakeholder Focused: Work with integrity and provide exemplary customer services to internal and external stakeholders. </li><li>Accountability: Have key metrics that drive performance taking a leadership role in maximizing the social and financial return of the community resources invested in Goodwill. </li><li>Financial Stability: Utilize the resources of the organization in an efficient and effective manner. </li><li>Strategic Visioning: Commitment to innovation, continuous learning, and leading change in creating community value. </li><li>Professionalism: Demonstrate a genuine interest in serving the needs of others and a positive attitude toward the community, co-workers, and individuals we serve. Represent the organization to the public with a courteous, helpful and business-like attitude. </li><li>Promote and demonstrate cooperation and teamwork. </li><li>Maintains safety standards in area of responsibility and throughout facility. </li><li>Responsible to maintain accuracy of paperwork. </li><li>Carries out additional duties assigned by the Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, or Key Holder. </li></ul> <p>Education and/or Experience:</p> <p>High school diploma or equivalent preferred.</p> <p>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Able to stand for two hours at a time over a period spanning up to eight hours. </li><li>Must be able to work evenings and weekends. </li></ul>
