<p>Supply Chain Analyst</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>We are seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for validating supply chain processes, analyzing costs, and ensuring documentation and traceability. You will collaborate closely with estimators and purchasing teams to optimize cost inputs and improve supply chain efficiency.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Solicit vendor quotes for raw materials and outside processes such as machining, heat treat, coating, and non-destructive testing. </li><li>Build and maintain a centralized vendor quote library, including quote numbers, dates, lead times, quantity breaks, and terms. </li><li>Work with estimators to provide accurate cost inputs and clarify supplier assumptions. </li><li>Normalize raw vendor pricing into unit costs for estimates, adjusting for operational considerations like minimum order quantities, freight, and packaging. </li><li>Assign confidence levels to cost inputs and identify areas of cost risk, including volatile commodities and single-source suppliers. </li><li>Attach and maintain audit-ready documentation for cost inputs linked to estimates, supporting Basis of Estimate development. </li><li>Provide documentation for internal and external audits, including compliance with DCAA and TINA as applicable. </li><li>Provide standardized outputs to estimators, including assumptions, confidence levels, and documentation references. </li><li>Collaborate with purchasing to gain current supplier context without handling purchase order issuance. </li><li>Compare quoted versus actual purchase prices post-award and provide insights to improve estimating standards. </li><li>Identify trends in material and process pricing, escalating issues as appropriate. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Proficiency in supply chain, procurement, purchasing, estimation, and cost analysis. </li><li>Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. </li><li>1-5 years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, estimating support, or cost analysis. </li><li>Strong Excel skills and comfort with ERP systems and quoting tools. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills. </li><li>Ability to support continuous improvement initiatives. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>The work environment is professional and collaborative, with opportunities to engage with cross-functional teams.
