Clinical partners include Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, Newark's University Hospital in Newark, and other affiliates.</p> <p>Through this community of healers, scientists, and scholars, Rutgers is equipped as never before to transform lives.</p> <p>Posting Summary</p> <p>Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Program Manager (Biomedical/Preclinical Imaging) for the Office of Research Department within New Jersey Medical School.</p> <p>As part of the Office for Research, under the direction of the Associate Dean of Research this position with minimal supervision manages and maintains a preclinical (small animal) molecular imaging facility using state-of-the art imaging equipment such as magnetic resonance imagers (MRI), optical imagers (e.g. IVIS 200, Single Photon/Positron Emission Tomography (SPECT/PET), Computerized Tomography (CT) and Ultra-high Frequency Ultrasound. Operates and maintains equipment, trains and supervises research faculty, staff and students in operation of selected equipment, orders supplies/contrast agents/radiopharmaceutical as needed, and facilitates invoicing for imaging sessions. Provides technical animal research services such as dosing animals, performing minor surgery, and anesthesia and conducts imaging sessions and image analysis.</p> <p>Among the key duties of the position are the following:</p> <ul> <li>Communicates effectively with laboratory manager and clients. </li><li>Understands and adheres to Rutgers' compliance standards as they appear in RBHS's Corporate Compliance Policy, Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policy. </li><li>Performs other related duties as assigned. </li><li>Provide day-to-day management of the core rodent molecular imaging center. </li><li>Maintain imaging equipment (e.g. MRI, optical imaging, SPECT/PET/CT, ultrasound). </li><li>Provide collaborative guidance and training to faculty researchers to assist in preparing grant applications and research projects involving various in vivo imaging modalities. </li></ul> <p>FLSA Exempt Grade 30S Salary Details Minimum Salary 102186.00 Mid Range Salary 129264.00 Maximum Salary 156342.00 Offer Information</p> <p>The final salary offer may be determined by several factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate's qualifications, experience, and expertise, and availability of department or grant funds to support the position.
