<p>Eaton's ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a EHS Supervisor. This position is ONSITE Monday-Friday 7:00am- 4:00pm at our Eaton Arden NC facility.</p> <p>The EHS Supervisor will provide environmental, health, safety and security leadership to the site. The supervisor is accountable for directing EHS activities at site including establishing EHS objectives and targets, internal reporting of EHS performance, ensures plant level EHS programs, policies, procedures and systems are developed, implemented and sustained to ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulatory requirements and conformance with Eaton Corporation mandates. Position is also responsible to maintain site ISO/OSHA certification along with supporting the creation of strong EHS culture that engages employees throughout the site.</p> <p>The expected annual salary range for this role is $93750.03 - $137500.04 a year.</p> <p>Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.</p> <p>What you'll do:</p> <p>In this position the EHS Supervisor will be responsible for:</p> <ul> <li>Champion, and lead projects designed to effectively drive improvements in our "Zero Incident Safety Culture" program(s) Drive and promotes zero incident EHS culture throughout site. Facilitate risk assessment at the location to identify critical EHS hazards and aspects. Work with leadership team to create targets and objectives based on key EHS risks. </li><li>Partner with other functional support/engineering teams to ensure plant projects, changes, upgrades and modifications adhere to and meet the PROLaunch and MESH "Change Management" processes; assists </li><li>Operational Excellence engineering team with building and grounds capital projects as required. Support the creation of EHS goals for the site manager and appropriate activity-based goals for the leadership team, functional managers, and front-line supervisors to drive EHS culture, compliance, and results. </li><li>Create and facilitate EHS engagement through the Safety Committee, safety related kaizen events, and weekly Gemba walks needed to accomplish the established targets and objectives for the year. Compile and analyze MESH data for capturing in Eaton's Safety database to include corrective action tracking and MESH scoring; produces data for monthly balanced scorecard based on MESH corrective action completion and incident rates. </li><li>Review plant environmental permits and ensure terms and conditions are understood and complied with, ensure required documentation is maintained and required regulatory reports are submitted to the respective agencies, e.g., air discharge permits, storm water discharge permits, local wastewater permits. Work with leadership team and MESH element champions to complete an annual evaluation of compliance of EHS local, state and federal regulations.third party recognition for programs that establish the site and Eaton's EHS program as world class. Create training matrices to ensure that all training is defined and tracked to completion. </li><li>Participate in the Corporate EHS assessment process. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Basic Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in EHS or related field of study from an accredited institution, OR an Associate's degree from an accredited institution, in environmental, health and safety or related field of study with 2 years of leadership experience from an accredited institution OR high school degree with 10 years of experience with 5 years of demonstrated leadership experience. </li><li>You must be able to work primarily on weekdays from 7am to 4pm or as the work requires. </li><li>No relocation is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Eaton's Asheville NC location will be considered.
