As a Forklift Operator, you will safely and efficiently operate forklifts to move materials throughout the warehouse and to their proper locations.</p> <p>Textron Specialized Vehicles is a leading global manufacturer of golf cars, utility vehicles, and personal transportation vehicles.</p> <p>What We Offer</p> <ul> <li> <p>$15.00 per hour</p> </li><li> <p>1st shift, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM</p> </li><li> <p>2nd shift, 6:00 PM - 4:30 AM</p> </li><li> <p>Health benefits, including telehealth medical services</p> </li><li> <p>Opportunity for full-time, direct hire</p> </li><li> <p>Referral program</p> </li></ul> <p>What We're Looking For</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution </li><li>Previous experience as a forklift operator </li><li>Experience using RFT scanners required </li><li>Must be comfortable working at heights </li><li>Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment that requires 10-12 hour shifts while standing most of the time </li><li>Ability to lift up to 35lbs. when performing job tasks </li><li>Ability to work weekends and overtime as needed </li></ul> <p>What You'll Do as a Forklift Operator</p> <ul> <li>Operate a stand-up Manlift forklift, elevating up to 30-40 feet to perform tasks safely and efficiently </li><li>Distribute and issue products throughout production areas </li><li>Manage warehouse inventory </li><li>Unload inbound shipments safely and move products to storage areas </li><li>Perform inspections on equipment prior to and following operational use </li><li>Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) </li><li>Clean and maintain work station and follow all safety and company policies </li><li>Keep track of parts and materials and refill bins needed to perform duties </li><li>Operate material handling equipment such as clamp trucks and cherry pickers </li><li>Perform other tasks as assigned </li></ul>
