<p>Staffmark is seeking an experienced Project Manager/Estimator specializing in Water & Wastewater Systems to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a construction professional with expertise in treatment plants, pump stations, pipelines, and environmental infrastructure to lead meaningful projects that directly impact public utility systems.</p> <p>Pay: $90,000 - $110,000 (depending on experience)</p> <p>Schedule: Rotating schedule</p> <p>As Project Manager/Estimator, you'll oversee the planning, estimating, and execution of complex construction projects focused on water and wastewater treatment facilities.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Lead construction projects for water and wastewater facilities, including treatment plants, pump stations, pipelines, and tanks. </li><li>Coordinate civil, mechanical, and electrical scopes to ensure efficient workflows. </li><li>Manage project schedules, budgets, safety, and quality through field oversight and collaboration. </li><li>Analyze plans, specifications, and bid documents to develop accurate cost estimates. </li><li>Prepare takeoffs, solicit and review subcontractor/vendor bids, and develop proposals. </li><li>Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, SWRCB, and municipal safety/environmental standards. </li><li>Serve as primary contact for owners, municipalities, and utilities; represent the company in meetings. </li><li>Maintain project documentation, manage change orders and pay applications, and track performance metrics. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred. </li><li>5+ years managing or estimating water/wastewater infrastructure projects. </li><li>Strong knowledge of treatment processes, piping, concrete structures, and heavy equipment planning. </li><li>Experience with public works bidding, compliance practices, and Design-Bid-Build or Design-Build models. </li><li>Proficiency in estimating software (HCSS/HeavyBid) and scheduling tools (MS Project). </li><li>Ability to read civil drawings, grading plans, and utility diagrams. </li><li>Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills. </li><li>Familiarity with DOT, municipal contracts, SWPPP, QA/QC procedures, and confined space safety programs is a plus. </li><li>Licensed P.E. in California (or ability to obtain) is a strong plus. </li></ul> <p>Benefits</p> <p>Our partner company offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, paid time off, and 401(k) options.
