<p>Job Title: Field Service Engineer</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>This position involves the troubleshooting and repair of spectrophotometers and other devices on customer sites using proprietary diagnostic software. The role requires significant travel within the North East region and interaction with customers to identify potential needs and opportunities.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Use Client proprietary diagnostic Spectro Auditor software to troubleshoot and repair spectrophotometers and other devices. </li><li>Interact with customers to detect potential needs and opportunities. </li><li>Diagnose and resolve technical hardware issues related to connectivity, functioning, and performance of instruments and their components. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware. </li><li>Proficiency in electronics, electrical systems, hardware, PCB troubleshooting, electronic repair, and circuit board troubleshooting. </li><li>Experience in test and troubleshooting using diagnostics software. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>A Degree in Electronic Engineering Technology or equivalent is preferred. </li><li>Salesforce experience is advantageous. </li><li>Service-minded attitude. </li><li>Valid driver's license </li></ul> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $63000.00/yr.</p> <ul> <li>Medical Insurance, dental insurance and vision insurance as of your first day of employment </li><li>Group Term Life Insurance </li><li>Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance </li><li>Long Term Disability Insurance </li></ul> <p>Workplace Type</p> <p>This is a fully remote position.</p> <p>Application Deadline</p> <p>This position is anticipated to close on Aug 29, 2025.</p> <p>About Actalent</p> <p>Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
